CFBP at MIPRO 2025: Petra Grd and Igor Tomičić Present Research co-authored by Domagoj Tuličić
CFBP members Petra Grd and Igor Tomičić participated in the MIPRO 2025 conference, held in Opatija, Croatia. As part of the Cyber and Information Security (CIS) section, they presented two scientific papers that contribute to the fields of digital forensics and cybersecurity.
The first paper, titled "Learning Digital Forensics through the Development of a Forensic Image Dataset and a Web Portal," was co-authored by D. Tuličić, P. Grd, and I. Tomičić. This work showcases an approach to digital forensics education by providing a custom-developed forensic image dataset and a supporting web portal to enhance practical learning experiences for students and professionals.
The second paper, "Penetration Testing Roadmap for NIS2 Compliance in SMEs," authored by Igor Tomičić, addresses the growing need for structured cybersecurity assessments in light of the NIS2 directive. The paper offers a clear and actionable roadmap tailored specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises to align with evolving EU cybersecurity requirements.
Their contributions reflect CFBP’s ongoing commitment to advancing information security practices through applied research and knowledge sharing.
